If you purchase a set of nails from us, here are some tips to allow you the longest wear:
- Using glue will ruin the integrity of the nail much more than using adhesive stickers will.
- Glue will ensure your nails stay on all day, but are very often hard to remove! It is better to use glue if you are only using the nails for a one-time application.
- Before applying to natural nail, always use polish remover to wipe the oils from the nails.
- Take off any nail polish you may be wearing on natural nails.
- Do not use lotion before applying nails.
- Acetone polish remover may be used on the natural nail to remove polish, but NEVER on the artificial nail tip.
- When applying nail tips, press and hold on fingers for at least 5 seconds for each nail. Roll your thumb back and forth over the nail to ensure the sticker is catching onto the back of the nail.
- Try to size up stickers with your nail bed BEFORE peeling them off of the plastic backing if possible.
- Out of stickers? You can order replacements from Bubble Café, or head to beauty shops like Sally Beauty for more!
- In a pinch? Dress tape can also be used as nail adhesive! Cut and measure pieces of dress tape to fit your nails, apply then remove plastic backing to reveal double-sided tape. Press nails on tape, and voila!
